I'm almost positive DJ can get f,f+3,1~ff~2,d/f+1+2 b! after asuka pulls d/b+4,3 in any combo. He actually should be able to land his ewgf staple (minus the second ewgf) off of it. That alone makes him a scary partner for Asuka because you're talking about close to 50%.

As for Drag 4,1 working after Asuka's d/b+2, does it work after WS3 as well? I'm looking for serious synergy in a team-mate for Asuka. A character who can make her better at what she does normally.

Well, she is above normal in TTT2, she got unique buffs in this game. All you really need is a partner of nerfed (like Lili, lol, T6 Zafina type). But it's really up to you. If you want a beast team then go for Asuka/DJ or Asuka/Lars. But for average, I'll go Asuka/Lili or Asuka/Feng. But this is just my opinion.

Well, if you have been reading, Knee's team (Hwo and Bry) combos are killing 75% all the time. He uses Hwo's unblockable in a combo.

I've been following, I think it's possible because of Bryan db2. I was wondering if Asuka had a similar move that allows Hwoarang RFF f3, 1+4 to work

1+4 should do the job.

that would be sooo sick. If it DID work, perhaps you would even get a db43 after 3ring circus for extra wall carry. I think 7 hits was the cutoff where db43 would whiff... so you can in theory make it either a 6 or 7 hit combo before trying to squeeze in a db43

sucks we have to wait a year to test things out -___- no love for the midwest

If d/b+4,3 doesn't hit then f+1+2 might reach. If not, f+2 should definitely do the job. Maybe even f+1,4.

What I'm more curious about is if DJ can land f,f+3,1~f,f,B+1+4 in a TA. I've been told DJ can land f,f+3,1~f,f,d/f+3,2,4 if slightly off axis, so I have a feeling it should work.

I'd test myself, but my ps3 is toast so I can't try it out on hybrid at my new house.

I saw Addung using her supercharge tackle as a unblockable techtrap on the wall - pretty damn awesome!

Is it breakable?

Asuka's ki up tackle has never been breakable and you can't break the punches neither.

Seeing as everyone is getting hit by it, I'd say it's still the same.

i coulda sworn it was reversable

anyways its a neat little wall trick that leaves a 50/50 situation because of ki charge

Pretty sure it wasn't reversible from when it first appeared (5.0?)... just with how the system worked, it wasn't viable to use. So like some unblockables, TA gives them a new, more dangerous use now.

If I remember, I'll test to see if Asuka's ki up tackle is reversible later today.

apparently hwo/asu works fine like I hoped

unfortunately/fortunately Harada has basically confirmed that they're removing it from the game

IIRC supercharge tackle can be reversed by hitting 1+2 just before hitting the ground - the timing is pretty strict on this one...

I bet it's still the same in TTT2

EDIT:
http://www.tekkenzaibatsu.com/tekke...tem_tackles.php

Asuka's Ultimate Tackle cannot be avoided, only overturned after hitting the ground.

Wow... guess it's damn tight if Koreans aren't breaking it then.

Also, it doesn't mention if the punches can be blocked or not, just overturn on hitting the ground... I'll definitely have to test this then........... if I remember :s

Back in Tekken 6 the jabs can't be blocked, but you can press 1+2 to overturn. IN TTT2, it still the same :-)

Not that comprehensive. I'll look through it.

Sorry, completely missed your post a few days ago :s

Asuka's staple TA strings are:
2,3
d/b+4,3 (will whiff if you spam it... delay a bit)
b+2,4,3

Depending on what your Ling is doing, one of those will be more correct to use.
