Hey does anyone here use Zafina/Christie team here? I am working on coming up with some good BnBs so I thought Id post some of them here. If anyone else has better or more effective ones please let me know!
Zaf starting:
No wall:
df2_ws2, df2,f+2,3~b,1+2, TA! [1+2,3] f+1+2_uf+1+2 (good for OKI)
df2_ws2, df2,f+2,3~b,1+2, TA! [ff+2,3] uf+3_uf+1+2 (good for OKI)
df2_ws2, df2,f+2,3~b,1+2, TA! [ss,3,4]ff+3+4
scrw df+3,wr3,d+1+2, TA! [1+2,3] 2,2,1+2 (about 103 damage but the timing is VERY strict)

Wall splat:
df2_ws2, df2,f+2,3~b,1+2, TA! [1,2,4,4] uf+1, df+1,2,1
df2_ws2, df2,f+2,3, 3+4 TA! [1,2,4,4] uf+1, df+1,2,1

sorry I dont remember exact damages on these but they are all 70+
Again if anyone has more or better ones let me know. Seems hard finding people using these 2 as a team (everybody LOVES pairing Christie with Eddy)

@Skkra: It is better to do d/f+2, u/f+1, f+2,3~b, 1+2B! on the open fields for tag combos since this has only 5 hits and do more damage than the one you are currently using.
This combo allows for a 3 hit filler from Lili, of which you could do d+2,2,4 (or is it 3? The one that doesnt kick the opp away) then allows you to end with ff+3+4.

As for wall combos, I think you could do this with zafina as the starter.

(Combo), W!, 1+2B! Lili TA! ws+3,4, u/f+1, d/f+1,2.

You gotta do the u/f+1 inbetween Lili's animation though, cause ws+3,4 has a slight delay between the hits. Im not sure if you could do the last "1" from the d/f+1 string but it might be possible too if you do the non-delayed version of it.


@BEEF: Sorry cant help you there Im not too familiar with chreddy, but for the combos, it would be better to use d/f+1 instead of d/f+2 even though there is 1-2 points damage difference, cause IIRC f+2,3 is harder to connect after d/f+2 compared to d/f+1, and d/f+1 picks people up more easily too.

As for the SCR d/f+3 combo, you could experiment with a the stances of chreddy to extend the TA! to about 5 hits, then end with ff+3+4. From my knowledge, if you do a move that goes into stance, you can do another move from the stance, and since chreddy has many moves that goes into stance, it might work.

Like maybe b+3,3 (stance), 2,3? (4 hits)

Hi! I also main Zaf/ Xtie Team. The main thing I really like about the two is just the potential to take away red life from almost every launcher.

Red Life eating potential:
For the following launchers:
Zafina - SCR 4~5 , ws+2~5
Xtie - df+3+4, RLX 3~4, CH df+2, 1+2~3, ws+3, d/b+1+2
You can use [Xtie b+3,3~5] to [Zaf f+2,3 SCR 3+4] B! ff3 (Oki)

For Zaf ws1,2:
You can do ~5 [Xtie dash b+3,3 RLX 2,4~5 B! b+3,3~5] [Zaf fff+4]

For Xtie ws1,3 or CH b+3,3:
You can do ~5 [Zaf ws1,2 1+2~5 B! f2,3 SCR 3+4]

For Xtie CH Get-up Kick 3 or ws+2:
You can do [Xtie ws+3~5] [Zaf df+1 f+2,3 SCR 3+4 B!]

In my case, I mainly use these red life juggles when Xtie gets the launch as we know Zaf doesn't have very good TA! haha.

For TA! Juggles:

I haven't really tested the damages for this one as I mostly play on the arcades
I'll try to update damages soon .

As for wall combos, I mainly use these as it really gives good mixup after the combos:
Zaf on Point
W! 1+2~5 B!
[Xtie uf+3+4] Zaf uf+1 df+1,2

You can omit d/f+1,2 at the end
If they tech roll, you can do a jump over then crouch jab which will hit them at the back then ws1,2 will be guaranteed.
If they just lie there you can d+3, b+3 or SCR1+2.
You can also subtitue u/f+1 df+1,2 with f2,3~b then if they tech roll, u/f~n+4 will be hit them at the back.

Xtie on Point
W! uf1+2~5 B!
[Zaf 3 SCR~db df+1,2,1] Xtie u/f+3+4
If they quick stand you can mix-up ss+1+4 (knock down) and ss+2,4 (wall splat)
If they get used to it and just lie there you can poke them or just do ss1+4

Another Set-up for Zaf/Xtie I've been using:
Xtie ff+4 HSP 1~5 B! (Zaf MNT d1,4) Xtie ff+4
Afterwhich
If they quick stand or just don't do anything,
HSP f+3+4 b+3,3 RLX 2, f+3 will hit for a huge chunk of damage
If they tech, just continue your offense.

Also, Zaf d/b+1+2 MNT d1,3
Afterwhich
If they don't tech MNT df+2~5 will hit and tag out to Xtie ws+3 ~ to juggle will be guaranteed
If they tech, just continue your offense.

I agree that the zaf/Christie team has INSANE red life damage potential. They make a really good team, surprised more people dont use them. Heck they even have a unique tag throw together.

Ending the TA! Combos with zafs 213 seems pretty good. I need to hit up practice mode tonight and check the damage on that.

Here is another one I came up with just messing around with them:

Christie on point:

ff+4_[RLX]4~3, 1~5 TA! MNT, d+3,1,d+1,4 uf+3+4
I like that one since Zaf gets 4 hits in during the TA!

I do the same as above, but this is one of the rare situations where I pretty much always use TA since I get about 30 extra damage here.

now im being hesistant of choosing feng as her partner, learning that partnering her with the capos is a good idea since i main eddy back in dr

Zafina/Armor King

uf+4 ~ f+2, 3 ~ 1+2+5 b! ~~ 3+4, 1 ~~ df+4, 1
87 damage

Same combo, different enders I use for resets.
uf+4 ~ f+2, 3 ~ 1+2+5 b! ~~ 3+4, 1 ~~ uf+1+2 then:
82 damage

If they backroll 1+2+5 b! ~~ 3+4, 1 ~~ df+4, 1
Its a reset for combined total of 132 damage

Do anything else: d+1+2

Mantis stance:

4, 3 ~ 1 ~ f+2, 3 ~ 3+4+5 b! ~~ 3+4, 1 ~~ run df+4, 1
104 damage



Armor King

Ex: Asuka - Zaf

ff+2,1+2 W! b+4,2~5 TA! 2,2,1+2 df+1 df+1,4 - 120 + damage (rounded off)

Anything much better for Zaf's part? You can't do 2,1,3 because the ending is a stance (you can't switch out during any stance).

Reverse around, I can pull off:

ff+4 SCR 3+4~5 TA! b+2,1>d+4 3 SCR 4 - 110 + damage

zafina's strongest ta for w! (afaik) is asu b42-5 B! TA zaf 3 to SCR to cancel then df121 asu b4,2 ... you got damage and oki

for reverse i think i saw someone do zaf w! ff3-b-5 TA b! asu 1+4,2,d4 zaf df121

Your b+4,2 nets no oki because the last hit will not spike them because of combo reducing at the wall.
