Borrowed the format from Shauno's Lei Juggle Thread (I hope you don't mind Shauno) will update as time they come to light. I just did this to preset the formatting. This post and the reserved ones are a WIP. thanks.

Zafina's Bread n' Butter Combos

Legend:

Syntax
_ ('or')
+ ('and')
n ('neutral' - don't move the controller)

> (slight delay before next command)
~ (quick input required)
, (a natural break between commands, but it is not a delay; no space after it means it's a canned string)
f,b,u,d and F,B,U,D (lower case = tap the direction, caps = hold the direction)

Stances
Tarantula Stance - (TRN) - d+1+2
Scarecrow Stance - (SCR) - 3+4
Mantis Stance - (MNT) - (d/b_d_d/f)+3+4

Other Notations
SS (Side Step, sometimes left or right is specified)
cc (crouch cancel; I use f~F+1 from FC to quickly stand up and jab, but there are other methods)
RD! (Rage Drive)

S! (Tail Spin)
CH (must counter-hit an opponent that's attacking)
NC (a natural combo that's guaranteed if the initial attack hits; no CH is needed)

"Whiff" (an intentional swing and a miss!)
Parenthesis (used to group commands that should not hit the opponent)
Brackets (special instructions are inside of these: < > )
Numbers at the end in RED (that's how much damage the combo does)
Moves in BLUE are optional (if you want to go for more damage)
Numbers at the end in BLUE are the total combo damage that 'include' the move in BLUE and rest of the combo.
Combos list with * or * means the combo is unconfirmed by me, but others may be able to.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Combos:
Special Setups
Standing
  • d/f+2, u/f+1, d/f+1, f+2,3 SCR 3+4 S! <dash> b+1:1+2 = 64 dmg or 'BLUE' 66 dmg best if you can hit the JF, you do switch sides
    d/f+2, u/f+1, d/f+1, f+2,3 SCR 3+4 S! <dash> d/f+4,2 = 58 dmg or 60 dmg * Wall carry
    d/f+2, u/f+1, d/f+1, f+2,3 SCR 3+4 S! <dash> d/f+4,1 = 58 dmg or 60 dmg * most consistent than both above
~~~~~~~~~~

Suggestions and corrections are appreciated.

Please note that this post is for a list of not-too-tough combos (while doing as much damage as possible) that works on almost any character in open ground. I noted the exceptions for bigs and smalls, and posted up an alternate for them as well.

Some launchers have multiple entries because varying reads in the battle arena sometimes mean it's better to finish with a different extension for one reason or another (i.e., a better wall carry or stronger oki, or for max damage in a small area due to the wall).

I also tried to include an easier way to do a few somewhat challenging combos by suggesting a move to cut (usually an extra, minor punch), or by giving a lesser-damage alternate altogether. Adjust your juggles and oki accordingly.

Thanks in advance to everyone who contributes BnBs to this post, and those who contribute to this thread with any cool combos in general!

Thanks again Shauno!

Sorry everyone was at work all day just getting into this now. Will be updating through out the evening...

1st draft is up.

I know it is very empty, still inputting the data and making changes.

UPDATE #2

2nd draft is up, still needs adjusting, will do more tomorrow.

We need some better combos, so far everything seems a little too staple.

Will gladly take suggestions and corrections.

I could get the following...

another TRN 1
TRN d+1+2
TRN 1+2 only the second part hit
TRN d/f+2 they can wakeup backward and side roll right safely. If they wakeup attack in any way, you get a full launch

@TokisPL and @Rezz

Your input has been updated to the first post.

Cheers

For the df+2 and CH d+4,3 combos, you can add a df+1 after uf+1 for 2 more dmg; just requires a micro dash for b+1 ender. Same for hopkick, you can add in a second df+1 after the first one.

For CH 1+2,4,4 S!, you can add in f+2,3~B before the ender for 70 dmg.

For a single CH 1+2 you can do 3~B, df+1, f+2,3 SCR 3+4 S! B+1:1+2 for 74 dmg.

For CH f+2 you can add in 3~B before the df+1 for 6 more dmg.

In the 7th bullet point for Standing Combos, I think you meant to type CH db+4,2. In any case you can add in a df+1 after the uf+1 for 2 more dmg.

For ws+2, you can add in a df+2 before the df+1 for 4 more dmg. It might take some time to get used to the timing.

For TRT 2, you can replace uf+1 with delayed hopkick then df+1 for 5 more dmg.

For SCR 4~B, you can add in a 3~B before the df+1 for 6 more dmg.

I'm not sure what notation you have for SCR 4 without transition back to regular stance, but you can do this combo:

SCR 4, SCR 3, SCR 1, SCR d+3,3 S! b1:1+2 for 69 dmg. Note: this will miss off axis. You might need to scrap the SCR 1 in that case.

Note that I have not tested this on Jack or Bears with their stupid leg hit boxes so not sure this will work on them. You might have to leave out SCR 1 for them.

For F+3~B, CH FF+2, and CH WS+3 this is the ender I have:

dash ff+2, df+1, f+2,3~B, b+1:1+2.

Landing the ff+2 after S! can be tricky. You have to almost do a deep dash in because the hit box is weird.

For CH f+3 and CH WS+3 staying in SCR, all I got is just SCR 1+2.

Will go through your 2 posts in their entirity and update soon.

Thanks again Rezz

CH MNT d+4; if you go back to reg stance you can b+3 for 40 dmg. If you hold d to stay MNT, you can MNT 3 or do another MNT d+4 for 37. You can also do MNT uf+3 for 22-24 dmg.. It doesn't register as a combo but I set the cpu to do random get ups and hit this 15 times in a row. I think it's unavoidable.

MNT 1+2 b+1+2 29

MNT 1+2 d+4,3 31

SCR 1+2 b+1+2 36 I think anyone would be tempted to do b+3 but if you do b+1+2 you knock them further away. If you backdash just a tiny bit, you'll be out of range of both get up kicks and if they do either one you can get a free df+2.

@Rezz

Thanks for all your input! We all appreciate the effort.

I have fixed all the combos with your recommendations, the ones with the Blue * and Red * I couldn't seem to land at all, others might have better luck landing them than me. All the other combos were confirmed.

The idea for both RED and BLUE values, is the BLUE is optional for extra damage. This is because it 'can' be much harder to land. Some players may just want to stick to RED combos.

Still got fix a few more things as stated earlier. Will do another update soon.

Cheers

A good easier alternative for SCR 4: SCR 4 SCR d+3,3 S! uf+1 f+2,3,4 = 69 dmg

A harder more dmg combo for SCR 4: SCR 4~B 3 SCR 1 SCR d+3,3 S! dash uf+1 b1:1+2 = 76 dmg

(MNT d+3,)1 MNT d+3,1 MNT d+1,4 S! dash uf+1 b+1:1+2 = 65 dmg
(MNT d+3,)1 MNT d+1,4 S! uf+1 f+2,3,4 = 59 dmg

CH f+2,3 SCR d+3,3 S! uf+1 b+1:1+2 = 66 dmg

CH f+2 f+2,3~b f+2,3 SCR 3+4 S! b+1:1+2 = 71 dmg

New Max for TRT 2: TRT 2 uf+1 uf+1 f+2,3 SCR 3+4 b+1:1+2 = 82 dmg

CH (1),4 TRT 1+2 dash uf+1 b+1:1+2 = 65 dmg (can add a df+1 after uf+1 for 2 more dmg)

CH (df+1,2,)1 b+3 = 42 dmg (can do f+1+2 instead for 1 extra dmg but will whiff if done at range)

New max for CH d+3: CH d+3 MNT d+1,4 S! uf+1 f+2,3,4 = 59 dmg

CH MNT 2 MNT 1,3~B f+2,3 SCR 3+4 b+1:1+2 = 70 dmg

CH MNT 2,1,4 S! MNT 1,3 b+1:1+2 = 64 dmg

Noticed we didn't have any Rage Drive combos. I have two:
RD uf+1 df+1 f+2,3 SCR 3+4 b+1:1+2 = 83 dmg (this is my staple; can replace the uf+1 with 3~B for easier option for 3 less dmg)
RD f+3~b delay slightly ff+2 df+1 df+1 b+1:1+2 = 86 (really hard and not recommended especially online)

Low Parry:
LP uf+1 df+1 f+2,3 SCR 3+4 S! b+1:1+2 = 53 dmg

CH TRT 1 TRT d+1+2

CH uf+1+2 TRT 2 (doesn't register as combo but is unavoidable, must do TRT 2 fast)

This worked just fine.

Had a lot of trouble with landing u/f+1, I could do combo without it though no problems for 69 dmg

Couldn't land f+2,3,4 at the end

both were fine

Good find with this one, cant believe we missed this earlier

Will add to NC list

I'll have to remember to put more different situational combos, thanks for reminding me with the Low Parry combo

Should have added this a while ago, was posted earlier

CH uf+1+2 TRT 2 (doesn't register as combo but is unavoidable, must do TRT 2 fast)

Visually confirmable, so if once you see the u/f+1+2 counter hit, input TRN 2 (As stated earlier, it won't combo, but you won't have to commit to it early)

I'll have to update post #1 later (kind of drained atm) with all of the above in this post, will be noted in UPDATE #4
