It would appear that under certain circumstances f,f+2,1 isn't a natural combo. I have NO idea what the cause was, but my buddy and I were playing about a half hour ago, he DEFINITELY got hit by f,f+2, but he STILL ducked the 1. Not sure if maybe there's a specific angle that the f,f+2 caused crouch or whatever, but bastard got a free launch even though the f,f+2 HIT!

Also...Why does the first post say f,f+2,1+2 is the high and f,f+2,1 is the mid? That is backwards. It's the other way around. I'll go ahead and fix that myself.

:::edit:::

Figured it out... f,f+2,1 at MAX range will cause the second hit to whiff, literally going over their head during the hunch over animation of the f,f+2 hit. BE WARNED!

Side note guys, it appears that b+2 has a tiny bit more range. It now hits post b! in situations it didn't it t6 (even though b+2,4,3 will whiff). Just a little fyi.

Also, I think 2,3 has a slightly longer recovery to it. In T6 you could do d/f+2, 2,3, 1+4 and it would all connect (not that it was a good option, but it was do-able). Now you take too long to recover from the 2,3 to combo it. I'm wondering if that doesn't carry over into how - it is on block. I'll test it for sure when I get off work.

ff2,1 if im not mistaken is slightly delayable.thus causing the string not NC if delayed.just countercheck it.

inatekken has BR asuka's 2,3 at -17, but -19 for unlimited/arcade. i remember ppl mentioning the 2,3 recovery in this thread or another a while back

so for ppl who been using her a lot now...how is her b3 overall? i hear the tracking and block-pushback got nerfed but does it still have that magic range/hitbox?

I won't even use b+3 unless the opponent is sitting -16. It's pretty much launch bait now. Then again, I almost never used it in T6 either.

f,f+2,1 is NC unless you go to the absolute maximum delay (which is seriously a RIDICULOUSLY long time). At PEAK range the 1 whiffs due to the slight crouch animation caused by the f,f+2 on hit, it makes the 1 go right over the opponents head. It's EXTREMELY hard to cause the second hit to whiff (I had it happen 3 times out of like 100 times trying to), but it's something to keep in mind. I had it whiff setting practice mode to block anything that wasn't NC, and he didn't even have to block; the animation made him duck it automatically.

Anyone can launch 2,3 on block.. even Steve. I think it's a good trade off if it's a single frame faster.

And yeah... pretty sure I've been saying that b+3>4 is HC-able since vanilla TT2 was out.

Hmm... something I've never thought to test... CH 4, 2,1, 2,1,1+2... with no dash. Should hit on some characters (like it did back in BR) but does it work on everyone? I'm still using dash 1+4.

I've been using slight dash 2,1,2,1,1+2 after magic 4. It's easy as pie.

It's kind of random if you don't do the dash. I've had it both hit and whiff against kaz. Slight dash makes it guaranteed. I'll test on smaller characters when I get off work tonight.

That would be very nice, I could never get CH4 dash into 1+4 consistent enough for competitive play.

Tested on Ling... As long as you input a TINY dash, you can 2,1, 2,1,1+2 b! after magic 4.
