Unless Prima has special rules in plae that these other companies don't I find it very odd we have heard nothing about who is working on this guide. Hell if you have someone prominent working on the guide you should be shouting it from the roof top because it adds legitimacy to what you are trying to sell.

I don't mean to tell you "I told you so"

but

Obviously, only saying this for comedic purposes of course,

Considering Prima's somewhat poor reputation for fighting game guides at the moment (I'm looking at you, MK9), I find it kinda strange that they aren't revealing which players worked on it. I mean if respected tournament players contributed to it, surely that would just add legitimacy to the overall product right?

EDIT: I'm not doubting the players that are contributing btw, just seems like an odd policy by Prima.

Gonna wait for reviews before I bother spending money on the guide, Prima are usually pretty terrible with fighting game guides

Also not revealing which players are working on the guide is completely stupid, you'd get loads more sales at launch if people knew top player x worked on the guide

So few pages for 50+ characters is also worrying

From Aris' Twitter
Aris ‏@AvoidThePuddle For those of you asking, yes I am helping with the TTT2 Prima guide. Insane amount of work in a short amount of time but its gonna be dope.

Aris ‏@AvoidThePuddle I can't answer detailed questions, just take my word for it, the guide will be more than worth buying. Everyone is working very hard.

Jon Gorby ‏@onlystrykerfan @AvoidThePuddle Are you allowed to say who else is working on it?
Aris ‏@AvoidThePuddle @onlystrykerfan I'll let them announce their involvement themselves.

Sounds good to me. People can have their opinions about Aris but he knows his shit when it comes to Tekken and what makes a good guide.

Kaworu ould probably beat Aris in a pie eating contest too.

The guide better be good - he's been looking hungry lately and he's lost his lighter...

It's not Prima doing it.

Good luck with the book Aris, Blood Hawk & tyler2k.

Many people on the staff are dedicated members of the community. I know they've been working hard and most importantly, they have a passion to make this an amazing project.

BUT, both of them are frequently in some Asians. Therefore, they can both play stick well.
Now you know the secret of being a good stick player.

Just for the record, how many community people exactly are working on this thing? I'd so would not want to write a huge guide for a Tekken games of all things with just over a month left.

I do not doubt at but do they have enough time for an mammoth project like this?
this will be the question in the end

i pre ordered it and i only need frame data on startup on block on hit and on counter hit.
anything else is a bonus. frames for me are the most important stuff to rise your gameplay.
