According to an official thread on TekkenCentral, the forthcoming Korean Tekken show "Tekken Busters" will be banning the use of solo characters. This means that in order to compete on the show, you must use the 2v2 format available in the game. Furthermore, the use of the same character by different players on one team is prohibited. It has also been rumoured that Tekken legend, Nin will be commentating for the show. It has been fairly unanimous that solo characters are very overpowered in TTT2u. If this is true, I hope the rest of the world follows this rule set moving forward with the game.

Good to hear ^_^ although I agree with 1v1 in general, 1v2 shouldn't have been put out until it was balanced. Glad that they're cutting it out, and I hope the world follows in suit. Also happy they're sticking to 2v2. Makes for longer, much more interesting matches ^_^

I'm just glad they're bringing back something similar to Tekken Crash like this-missed watching 30 min-1 hr footage of high-level Tekken gameplay.

I don't mind the 1 vs 1. I think the 2 vs 1 is just stupid. As a matter fact I would like for that feature to be removed in the console version.

I still think playing double is stronger than solo. It's very premature of them to make a ban only 1 month into the game. But since it's already at high levels, I don't think any of them would have bothered with solo anyway.

Solo mode I think would be a good tool to get new people into the scene... i.e. the US audience.

I mean why wouldn't it be on the console version? I still don't like the 1 vs 1 in a tag game where tag is its main feature. I only be making rooms for 2 vs 2 forget all the BS if I want 1 vs 1 I still have tekken 6 minor the new characters.
