Well, my copy of SCV comes sometime next week. And the snow's melting, so transportation this weekend shouldn't be as ridiculously difficult. I'm about ready to get a rental from Redbox, though.

May play Astaroth instead of Natsu; I love his backthrow. His CE is apparently even more useless than Raphael's, though, which is truly a feat. Still, he has a great throw game and you know I'm all about that.

Too bad that since it's a grab with not even the remote possibility of mixup (most throws have the A/B break mix or throw/mid mix) as soon as you see his feet flash you can just duck, or so I've read. I could be wrong though.

GGs Jon, I'm going to have to look up more top-tier Goldar strats, apparently he's not bad in this game. His ability to create frame traps (in Legendary Souls mode) seems like it would make him fun to troll people with. Also, aGI CE = wow. I mean, it's not exactly practical to use as a GI unless your opponent whiffs the first hit of a string, and we all know that whiffing isn't allowed in this game.

I'm gonna be at on a business trip in Iowa this Thursday, but if anyone else wants to bring in a system/game/etc, the room's still reserved. We also spoke with a dude from an on-campus general fighting games group who may be willing to host. []

Yo. Finally got my password reset. And for some reason it wont let me post on 8WR at work. I've been out of town for the past 2 weekends and I lost my phone for a bit.
