That's not the same as saying "she's whatever you want." I don't know why people completely misunderstand that. People need to stop tossing that around.... especially now.

If I told you that you should like a person regardless of their race, would that mean that he can be black just because "you want him to be"? No. In fact, it would be doing the opposite.

So, Namco says that people should like Leo regardless of her gender. That doesn't mean she's whatever the heck you want. She's still one or the other. And needless to say, it's been confirmed what she is.

Despite the confirmation, the statement "people should love her regardless of gender" still holds integrity. Because, It simply is just saying that people shouldn't care. And once again, people picking genders for her and saying she's "this or that to me" is doing the opposite. It's caring what she is.

I don't have a problem if people care. I care what she is. I like her as a female. I just get irked when people say "she's whatever I want" and often bring up the statement Namco said "she should be loved regardless of gender" thinking it means that people can actually pick. It doesn't.

well on my side, i like leo as a male, even before her gender was announced, i really like how she looks like a male shouta from animes, since most of the anime looking guys in tekken(KOF-like anime) are hard to play, i really can't use them, since i have no time to spend due to my schedules so i need a charcter thats easy but will benefit me in the future through continuous use, and leo fits that category... the moment her gender was announced i desperately try to maintain her as male... but i lost... and so i drop her...not because of her gender but, i have no guy character to play aside from him, who became "her"...

Use Lars. He's easy to play.

I think your problem isn't the chars you pick, but the (wrong) idea the world have to agree with your tastes.

If you are going to play Leo, just play HER and enjoy.

Seriously? who gives a fuck about two genders! -__- why are people so mean??

I believe Leo should get Michelle Chang as a pallete swap, her style is pretty close to what Michelle's remade style would look like, maybe a few different moves would do, sort of like Eddy/Christie.

1. Heihachi referred to Leo as a boy.
2. Anna referred to Leo as a boy.
3. The headbutt carnival works.
4. The body build; it is the same as Hwoarang's.
5. Continue and Lose animations, those are of guys. Also, Leo has a special lose animation that only Wang, Jack-6 and Yoshimitsu have.
6. Has a sledgehammer in T6BR.
7. Has joker pants, general's coat, armor and many male items in TTT2.
8. Is in the male section of the Tekken 6 Artbook.
9. Classified as Class 3 sized character in TTT2. Xiaoyu, Alisa and Jaycee are Class 1, every other female is Class 2.
10. Has shorts but the legs appear manly.
11. Wide shoulders, narrow hips.

1. The jawbone; it is too rounded.
2. Thin arms; not as big as Hwoarang or Steve.

Since "Her" confirmation (Harada saying at an event, is proof enough for me.), she looks more feminine, if anything in her TTT2 rendition. Seeing people (apparently) arguing still, is beyond me. Leo is a male, a young metrosexual or maybe bisexual or gay boy.
If you check out all his photo's on google you can see he has a male posture.
This meaning no female hips or breasts, he even got a small bulge in his pants.
So Leo confirmed female, i don't think so.

There is absolutely no reason why Leo would be female, even his name is male.
Harada won't tell the gender because this way a rather boring character gets more attention.
He wan't people to debate and all, all attention is good attention.
It's like a free ad for the game.
Maybe that's why the put in the weird hair customisations.
To fuel the fire, but the character has a male body form and had male clothes.
Both his regular outfits are male, the tuxedo is even more male then the other.
Lee Chao Lan has kinky straps and sandals and all, does that make him gay or female, no it's just that freaky japanese style you ether apreciate or don't like.
So Leo is a male, no doubt about it.
