Would boon reflection make you triple your life with celestial mantle? I thought thats what it did

well, let's say you had 1 life. the 12/12 flyer attacks and you gain 12 life from that. Boon Reflection then kicks in and it doubles to 24 pts. Your life total is now 25. Due to Celestial Mantle, Your life total doubles again and your life is now 50.

Plus, with Spinal's combo, you can tap a W and a colorless and distribute 24 +1/+1 counters on your creatures.

I just found something out that is, interesting to say the least.





When you cast/attack with Sun Titan, you MAY bring back a creature enchantment(aura) as it counts as a permanent(this is where it gets interesting). However, unlike casting it, which "targets", it does not target when returned to play, and simply "attaches" to a legal target, to include shroud and hexproof. Protection from said color still applies as the attachment must still be legal.

Looks like Plated Slagwurm just got a downgrade.



Also, spells with rebound cast from your hand and copied(fork, wild ricochet, etc) DO NOT have rebound.

@Spinal, There aren't very many 3 casting cost auras that I can think of that will work wonders on a slagwurm. Even so, nice to know.

@Kite: Double-strike doesn't do anything with Altar. It's the power when the creature is saced to the Altar. Double strike merely allows the creature to hit a creature with it's power twice....once in the form of first strike (assuming both creatures survive), then again as normal combat.

I meant double on Sun Titan to get 2 ancestor's chosen and sac them to mill enemy's deck. And keep doing it over and over

Sun Titan let's you get a 3 casting cost permanent. Ancestor's chosen is 7 casting cost. Double strike is irrelevant when sacing a creature to the altar. I do like Ancestor's chosen though. Great potential.
