and i thought i was the only lee/law player here haha

apparently, law's f,f+4,3 has slow recovery which delays his movement (the automatic forward dashing thingamagic) while TA is happening. in my part, i just use law's f+1+2 prior to TA because it gives me more consistency with law's dss f+4 ender.

I'll try SSL. If that doesn't work, I'll try using law's 1+2 bound move before TA.

Do you guys think lee got nerfed? I sure do... He seems way better in BR.

btw alex, where do you usually play?

With the SSL it'll autodash your waiting character in further because of the angle and space created. You'll ultimately end up a lot closer for your final shot.

SSL Works like a charm. now I can get Law DSS f+4 consistently after Lee TA SSL b+2,4,3. Thanks for the tip Mura

not sure about ling, she's kinda low in the damage area.

The problem with watching on the live monitor is I'm not always at the Arcade to watch. So I watch on youtube most of the time. So yeah. Any youtube links would be much appreciated.

Replay Viewer. Go to Japan
Japan - Replay - Character Sorted Replay - Pick either Jin or Lee - Look for a player named "shudy". He's really good with Jin and Lee...

Lee is one of my favorite characters, I've probably picked him more than I pick any other character, outside of tournament. His style just doesn't fit the way I like to play in that situation, really considering him for TTT2 though, he covers a lot of Jack's weaknesses.

I like what I've been seeing from him a LOT, especially being able to jugggle from ws+2,3 in TTT2U? Excellent!

i dont think you should be too happy about that. maybe the reason why lee is the only one with the update on the trailer is because he has more nerfs than others haha

@muzcat tabs

i found a lee/jin video! haha

Don't take too much offense to it. There are a few ways to end up good at Tekken, and most people take my path: no natural talent or skills that helped me become one of the better players, but rather a mix of dedication, intelligence and experience. Some people however just have a clear affinity for the talents needed to be good at this game, and thus either get to be decent without as much effort, or put in that effort and end up dominating the game (Nin, Gypsy, Knee amongst others all fit this category).

So when I say only 3/4 US players are talented, I mean talented in the very literal sense. It's pretty rare.

Haha, there was none taken, as I understand the mix pretty well. I know a few people who have really low "gamer IQs", but are still very good at Tekken because they realized this and put that much more effort forward. I know I certainly don't have the natural talent of any of those players you listed, as it is indeed pretty rare.

I wonder how much of a damage increase Lee's d+2 recieved, maybe it's as strong as Heihachi's d/b+2...

@izeth
lee + ling would be good
there was xandro from TTT1 that played ling and lee co-existentially

ling would create good space for lee to tag in due to ling has a lot of evasive maneuvers back then
(xiaolove, xandro and TONY-T exploiting it at most during TTT1 days)
i missed the old tag cancel (it was my recovery move back then not to get hit after i took a juggle from an opponent if he didnt spike and waves in front of me (mishima's) )

lee and ling was my primary option in TTT1 then it bacame lee and hwoarang because of guys like
jung gi gae (step hwoarang) and kim do hee and dong su

today ling has her launchers to create good wall carry for lee and ling finishing it up from tag assualt with her OKI options...
i would try to play again for sometime to put inputs. busy with job hunting (just finished college yey)

here are lee+hwoarang vids
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dFG429XZPY - hwoarang lee vs ganryu marduk
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBkTlRFav8M - roger jr kuma vs lee hwoarang

lee+steve
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GbsB-993l8 - steve bruce vs hwoarang lee
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_oB...feature=related lee steve vs jinpachi leo
other pair ups

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUfi...feature=related law lee vs jin marduk
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8Rg...feature=related jin lee vs yoshi steve
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TlO...feature=related wang paul vs jin lee

having fun with steve paired with lee

im trying to include old TTT1 pressure stuff and movements into the new TTT2
though some of them are extinct already missing how ling move around TTT1 days
and how hwoarang can put up good pressure from his mixups
PS... just got my password back

a thing i noticed different from helpme is that he doesnt go to hms after d+3 like he used to. maybe it's better on hit i suppose?

Vid is blocked in Japan on copyright grounds... can't watch.

But d+3 vs. d+3~4 avoids some extra stuff because it stays crouched through the recovery. This can be useful, and particularly in certain matchups. For example, Bryan can JU d+3~4 on a whiff, but not d+3 on a whiff. Same with DEWGF, etc.

Player called miya using Lee/AK team

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_R1P...p;feature=inbox

Also, you can normally tag and still pick up the opponent e.g. after Lee's b+4~5 feng 1+4, pretty handy
