eh, i'll just try it out, if i don't like it, its back 2v2.
You won't be playing tag, thats essentially the biggest hindrance, but it will give you more time to experiment with Jin instead of spending half your time with whatever your other character is..
If you can utilise that and not be too dependant with one character, then you're not too worse off..

Using one character is like a drug on it's own though, as if people don't find mirth in being able to just use their main and laugh off damage they take compared to the amount of damage they inflict..

Yeah, like I already said LEGITIMATE tournament play will not have 1vs2. I think that's pretty much decided.
Tim and everyone else: How does Friday, April the 6th sound for a tournament? By the way everyone, I think after this week, I will not be working weekends anymore, so it'll be much easier to run tourneys on a Saturday or Sunday. HOORAY.

talked to the chinese players they all think 1 has the disadvantage maybe because all the do is hold back and block everything and the 1character cant do any damage no matter how big the damages are
yeah u do know that when the 1 player does hit netsu other side can just back dash till they run out... where as in 2v2 the chances of getting nestu is alot higher.... also 1 char sometimes cant escape certain wall pressure things which is when tag crash comes in handy...
edit since the damages are counted in scales i think any character with a strong 50/50 would be a scary character for 1v2. juggles not as much 1 proper full juggle maybe does 10-20% more 30% tops but a strong standing 50/50 does so much more.

I think one of the thing namco should do is TA! during 1v2 shouldn't give rage.
Yesterday was playing against few people who uses 1 character on me, was so scared to even use TA!, throw any ever unsafe moves...once they get rage pokes hurts like hell man...

I really regret ever thinking solo play was a good idea.
Tag fighting against Solo is suicide.
