Will there be 3rd season for the anime?

The new anime was greenlit for 90 episodes, so I dunno what happened

There are rumours that they are currently working on an OVA

Madhouse is in financial debts. Don't expect anything Ippo related for a long time.

Ippo and Itagaki can have fights lasting for months, but I'm still more invested in an Aoki fight that's gone on for 1.5 issues.

Itagaki fight was badass though. It only took 99 volumes for them to finally reference arguably the greatest boxer of all time.

I'd be down for a Sendo v Itagaki match before the Ippo vs Mexico arc.

If they value the manga, I hope Ippo loses...
