Signups will be on the day.
Both games on PS3, bring your own controller

Thanks to the few guys that came, big thanks to Dr.S for helping me setup, and Shahed for being there as usual.

No promises for another T6 tourny in a future NXT Showdown

"Yorkshire Carnage" event in May will feature TTT2 if possible

Looks sick!
Unfortunately there's another small tourney in London the same day, otherwise I would have been up for coming.
Hope there's a good turnout, and the northern scene keeps playing!

Respect, London has the strongest Tekken scene in UK at the moment.
We didn't know you had 360gaming planned for 4th March, we could have done Saturday
post your event on the Calender too anyways

Hey real-menace
prizepot will made up from the registration fees that people pay on the day for that particular tournament (eg, T6 prizepool made up from only the fees paid by people entering T6 tournament)

Winner will get 50% of the tournament prizepool

A number of people have promised to come on the day for either one or both tournaments, but since we are not collecting money online we don't have an accurate idea of what the pot is ATM

Both me and Shahed are expecting a fair turnout, but it would help if guys interested in coming could post here or send an email (showdown@nxt-event.co.uk) to confirm they will attend

Ah man it's a shame about the turnout

Normally I would say to always advertise further in advance to allow more people to come (although you guys didn't do TOO badly with the notice, perhaps it's even more important in the North).

I don't think TTT2 is coming out that soon on console (hope I'm wrong).

My 2c is that whatever fighting game tourney you do next, make sure SF x Tekken is one of the games. Not everyone likes/respects it, but it's basically a brand new/red hot game, and thus more likely to draw in a crowd (albeit newbies/GAME shop customers) than other games.
Basically the "anchor" game to fall back on, giving you the leeway to try other/better games.
(unless another even newer game comes out by then)

TTT2 will be on consoles later this year in winter or next year for def

I was talking about TTT2 arcade, there might be a chance we can get one for our next "Yorkshire Carnage" event, only for casual play ofc
