SAV df1 CH now gives gut stun (breakable) juggle. Not bad.

ff 2,2 works a lot better as TA if you SSR first i.e. less pushback.

I actually prefer SAV uf3 being safe with no juggle. Still worth throwing out every once in a while.

Still need to test SAV db3. I don't think it's +2 on hit like it used to be.

Tell everyone that df1 is now -1 on block. It actually works out in your favour. Gives them more incentive to swing after blocking df1. Cue more sidestep shenanigans after df1 or using df1 extensions.

f2+3 is very easy to use as a punishment for people who choose to safe tag at the wall. After completing a TA wall combo, a lot of players will use the opportunity to do a safe tag (still don't know the actual term). They'll dive in right over your head and you can turn around and get a very easy f2+3 punish. Timing launchers is possible I've been told, but I've been having a lot of difficulty pulling it off.

d/f+1~F, SAV b+2 to catch jabs. Does it work now? It was always a frame or two out of the parry window in T6.

Anyone get the Arcadia frame data for Miguel? Would be good if I could update his movelist with TTT2 accurate frames.

No one uses ff+2,2 for a juggle ender if you want options. End the juggle with a 1+2 for real options.

f2+3 is not supposed to penetrate a string.

Given that the number of hits are pretty crucial in Tt2 before a bound, always use d2 instead of df2,2.

For those who do df1, sav uf3, df4,1 as your staple, you are not able to do sav 121 as a wall carry. Sav 1,4 remains the only option left, or maybe another sav uf3.

For those who have been sticking with mig for a long time and know your stuff, just a gentle reminder, 1+2 ender in any juggle became an even more powerful tool with this new game engine. Always end with 1+2 unless you're newer and just want to deal max dmg in a juggle. After 1+2 spike, your options are pretty self-explanatory based on the position/recovery.

post bound =/= juggle ender

the unpatched version of f2+3 interrupted many strings in some match videos.

i am very sure that nina isn't ducking.

In tag2 we call it TA. Not post bound. There's only TA and ender.

f2+3 is still working well now. No real change unless it's being used randomly.

Nina has this mini bd motion that still crushes high. Players may do it while sidestepping.

PS: and why isnt miguel's hopkick -14 anymore? it's more like -12 now. And not like i really care, namco should just make it -15. TP's the way to go.

ff+2,2 isn't a launcher.

Weird i saw someone did it here at our local arcade or maybe I just didn't saw what launcher the person used before using ff 2,2. Just asking if (dragunov)ff 2 can reach (miguel)ff+2,2? Using dragunov as a tag partner. Still searching tekken videos for anyone who has tried it :3

You can use ff+2,2 in TA with miguel, then ff+2 to finish it off with drag to spike the opp. But ff+2,2 is not a launcher.

SAV b+2's parry frames are confirmed as being open from 4~10, which is pretty damn terrible compared to the rest of the cast. It does however mean that d/f+1~f blocked into SAV b+2 should now catch jabbers.

hey guys!

im new to mig.. well sort of..

tried playing him a couple of times in BR...
and now im getting sick of teaming paul with ganny and am opting for mig as a solid tag partner...
considering my poking play-style...

been playing mig for a few games now... and he seem solid... and is still a good harass player...
after reading some of you guys' output it seems that i have been missing out on all the good stuff that needs to be thrown out by miguel...

was just wondering what other solid TA's we got for miguel, aside from df1~SAV121...
was using df41 and ff22... but it doesnt seem to be that effective...
im looking for a non-wall carrying SAV input with not so much knock back...

and btw... is f2 high crush?

thanks!

d/f+3,2~f(SAV)d/f+2

I haven't had a chance to try them all out yet, but I would just try to mix and match them until you find some nice staples.
Let me know what you find!

df41~f~SAVuf3
df+22
f+4,2 can also work I think.
df+2,1 though but doesn't have much damage but it can setup running finishers.

thanks mate!

played gan and mig yesterday and it went good!

even though i fought some in experienced players... lol practice is practice...
and im not saying that im a good player.. xD

i tried using df1~SAV121 as TA for my ganny juggles but the last hit wiffs...
any ideas why?

my staple for ganny is df2,b41 B!

also tried df1~SAV uf3 the enemy ends up face first, feet facing you...
it was a good TA too...

df21 as a TA option for me is out of the question... if i can just get the proper timing for the input of SAV121 for better wall carry and damage...

anyone know if you can cancel SAV with f2+3? would be hell awesome!

also what are your thoughts on spamming uf1?

uf+3, ws+2~f~SEdf+1 b! TA! (mig) df+1~fSAV121, (lars run) db+2~fSE1

so your ender with ganny has to be at just either 2 hits or just 1.

be careful on spamming uf+1, might get jabbed and be floated for a juggle, use it sparingly.

well yeah. But considering that he bounded immediately I think d/f+4,2 save 1,2,1 could work. I'm not sure since I don't use ganny.

It does work with law/miguel. I have a vid (even tho I was playing like ass thanks to my wrist) showing it. They are in the Law section.

I also noticed (dunno if it's covered) he doesn't get guaranteed damage off his 2 throw. :/

I've seen SSR df4,1 ~f SAV 1,2,1

I tried it out myself, and while it is possible, it seems very tight and might even be character specific. The damage is super delicious.

I just use df 4,1 for consistency. Works on all axis'. For a linear axis, you can use df 4,1,1.

Leonized:

1.his standing and ws punishers now?
Standing
10f - 1,2
11f - 2,1
12f - 2,1. 4 for long range
13f - df 1,2. df1,1 for SAV mixup
14f - f1+2 -> d1+2 (f2+3 for better oki but less damage). df 4,1 if you want to leave them standing (bitch please)
15f - hopkick
16f - df2,1. hopkick is more consistent though. twin piston often has range issues. Don't forget to launch tag with twin pistons.

Low punish
10f - crouching jab
11f - ws1 for good plus frames and SAV mixup. Otherwise ws4
12f-14f - ws4
Special Case: 14f when they recover standing e.g. Bryan's qcb 3 - ws 1+2,4,1.
15f - hopkick. the juggle is better and more consistent. ws2,2 to pick up awkward punishes like Lee and Law slide kick.

2.TA filler miguel as sub?
twin piston for good height and wall carry
ssr ff2,2 for damage
df1 SAV 1,2,1 after an early B!

3. w!b! tag filler as sub and as lead?
sub - males - df1 SAV df4,1,1
sub - females - df 3,2
sub - bears and ogre - df1 SAV 1,2,1
sub - ling or small - df1,2

lead - males - df 3,2 (bigs), otherwise df1,2. Have not tested df4,1,1 on big characters. Might very well be possible.
lead - females/small - df 1,2

4. her staple combo filler by himself?
launch, df1 SAV uf3 df4,1 df,2,2 B! whatever ender rocks your socks
launch df1 SAV df1, df4,1 SAV 1,2,1 or 1,4 for wall carry

5. TA ender miguel as lead?
WR 3 or f2+3 for late B! which is usually the case after staple combo.
