Signature Tekken 7 needs at least 8 new easy characters.
The rule for character design is one real specific martial art per character.
No to martial art less characters , no to generic fighting style characters and no to new characters with fantasy styles.

At around 8:38 of this video, it seems like they're testing the safety of WS+3+4. Lei was able to block Heihachi's d/f+1, and a jab whiffed during Lei's recovery. Pretty interesting.

Lei/Xiaoyo Vs Kuma/Jack-6

Lili VS Jin/Lei

Hwoarang/Baek VS Lei/Marduk

Leo/Lars VS Dragunov/Lei

Lei/Lars VS Raven/Jack-6

Lei/Leo VS Devil Jin/Heihachi

Lars/Feng VS Yoshimitsu/Lei

A couple of lei tag teams!!

Im a lei user only and im struggling to choose a partner for ttt2 any suggestions? i kno lei is a risk=reward type of character, should lei's tag partner be more safe or jus as insane with the mixups as he is i.e yoshi/ling?

Im willing to dedicate time to learning another character obvs none are as gr8 as the drunken supercop but its needed for the next game. Any advice ppls?

There is no real good partner suggestion for Lei, since in this game anything goes honestly...My main team so far is Lei/Drag. Only picked Drag cos he had the b+1+3 and df+1+2 reversals but after playing for a while I realise it not really a great choice, since I'm playing 2 different style, where Lei i'm playing as a setup to launching type of character, while my Drag is a punishing poke character.
But yeah play around with other characters and try and find a partner base on your own criteria I guess.

Yeah, just pick the character you like 2nd best.
It shouldnt really matter that the chars play differently (or not).

I plan on playing Jack/Lei, it doesnt really get alot more different then that, haha. A bonus of this team is that both have launch~5 stuff that they can use mid combo (Jack f,f+1+2~5; Lei f,f+3~5 and f+3,1,2~5); giving them lots of flexibility when it comes to combos or oki games (if half the stuff I have in mind will actually work, heh), which is something I really like.

Yoshimitsu, Feng, and Zafina. I'm suggesting them because they are my other mains and I mastered them long before I mastered Lei. If you want another tricky character, try Zafina her moves are easy to learn, it's winning with her against humans with functioning brains that is the problem, but she's a lot better in Tag 2.

Yoshimitsu is a bit like Lei, in that he's a stance heavy character, except his moves don't actually trick people, and his stances are often what gets him killed because they leave him so vulnerable, and he's an overall terrible character, eh sorry I don't know I'm suggesting Yoshimitsu.

Feng is a good character. He's mainly a defensive character, has good pokes, reversals, and ok juggle damage. The reversals only work good against some characters like Steve Fox, but terrible against someone like Bruce, so you'll have to rely on his poking.

I personally plan on using Lei/Feng and Zafina/Kunimitsu and may switch these 4 around in different combinations.

Don't throw magic 4 as often now...-9 on block, whiff very punishable. The juggle is much harder since the knockback is further back and a bit to your left, combo not as stable....
