d/f+1: -4 on block (Confirmed)

1,1: 0 on hit (Confirmed)

u/b+1+2: New sword stab input. u/b+1+2~1 goes into sword spin, and u/b+1+2~1+2 goes into high unblockable sword tap.

d+2,2,1: m,m,h
- NCc
- -12 on block.
- Remains to have the most wall carry post B!... w/ the exception of possible f+3+4 wall carry.
- Good wall carry option. Yoshi is able to f+1+2 B! even when d+2,2,1 hits very close to the wall.

d+2,2,d+1:
- B! version. Last hit is Mid.

b+2,2:
- m,h
- i14 punisher
- NC
- Can be delayed but won't NC
- KND on hit for guessing game
- Causes W!
- Comparable damage as d/f+1+2,2 (1/5 of health bar)
- -14 on block without delay. Possibly safer with delay but opponent can duck and launch easily.
- NSS also NC, but the second hit won't floor opponent. Finally something to use for NSS i14 punisher

d+2,2,d+2+3:
- d+2,2 into NSS

f,f+3~1+2 (goes into KIN)

KIN
- KIN f: Dubbed "Fujin" step. I am assuming that's got some speedy and dodgy forward-motion.
- KIN 2: Launcher if done alone. Not sure if it is safer than it used to be (-16), but Nina failed to punish w/ b+1+4 (i16).
- KIN 3: No longer death on block.

KIN u+1+2: L. Force crouch on block and goes into IND.

Random Titbit:

- (slightly?) shorter Trooper roll from FLE.

- Same 2-step FLE walk shit. (ugh)

- 1SS flash range still sux, but now w/ B! juggles.

- Juggles that ends w/ 3~4 seems to not push opp farther than b+2,1, but rather close. It's likely for the purpose of 3~4~u oki.

- b+2,1 has the same properties as cd+1. It juggles, which means you can also tag off of it in combos.

- Roo is now true high crush(?). Taggable from all versions.

-Tag out after 2+4 throw (?)

-1+2 reversal. Otherwise goes into KIN normally.

-ff+2 allows for tag out (I think I remember seeing this - he disappears like tagging out of Roo kick)

- ff+4 has worse recovery. Yoshi cannot hold B to block fast mids now.

- All healing moves only heal red bar. Even MED 3+4

- NSS KIN+1 B! now. Yoshi can do combo like NSS d/f+2, b+2,1~KIN+1 B!

- Yoshi can press tag button during MED. Tag out in the same fashion as BT~5

4~3 (disappears like TTT)
uf+3+4,3+4 (2nd hit)
ss+2
FLEA 3+4
IND 3,3+4 (2nd hit)

So far... moves below seem to have the same or similar properties:
- KIN 1+2
- Dgf 4 remains to be a very high "mid"
- u/f+4 remains to have pretty shitty hitbox (goes over many moves)

I mentioned Salmon move in TTT2 forum lol.

But yeah, I don't know about 1ss d+1, but it would be useless anyway. his d/b+1 and f+1+2 are far superior than d+1, and his new d+2,2,d+1 bounds too now.

Lol sorry dude .

Well, I love variation so it's all good . Perhaps they'll meat up d1's damage or give good recovery to make it a useful B! move. Making it unblockable again would be so sexy. Intriguing, d2,2,12 seems quite long winded, wonder how it would incorporate in to juggles.

Is this thread cool to discuss in, or is it purely for updates? I'm excited .

One hour of footage! Yoshi match starts at 11:54. Also at 33:00 minutes in, another Yoshi match.

As Noodle reported, d+2,2,1+2 (looks like d+2+2,1) bounds.

KIN ff - dashes forward. It's a considerable dash.

FC df+4 is the same.

ff+4 looks the same.

- You are right, it's d+2,2,d+1. Input is now corrected.

- Fc d/f+4 from yoshi did not get ws+2'd from Lili, but I have a feeling that lili was a bit late to punish.

- I read from the jap stuff.... it seems that Kin f has new animation similar to cd. You are able to do moves immediately during the advance.

- The 1,1 and d/f+1 ones, I have to make sure that it isn't his "wishlist", but rather real. *crosses fingers*

quick things I noticed, ff+4 bt d+4 seemed to come out faster. it's probably an optical illusion tho.

1,1 on block doesn't seem to have the crappy frames it has now.

u/f+3 = -12 on block O_o

kin F kin 2 has rediculous range. lol

interesting stuff from those videos. still have to see a tropper roll in there for me to be happy. =3

Quick note: the delayable third hit "may" make the d+2,2 safer, though by themselves it's almost useless to just toss d+2,2 out... unless it's got the special properties that was mentioned in the general forum.

It seems like there are 2 inputs to the d+2 string - d+2,2,d+1 (B!) version and d+2,2,1(or 1+2, I think). Regardless, it looks like there are 2 different enders - a bound ending version and one that can send the opponent flying to the wall.

I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. I'd like to know about Soul Siphon throw and any possible changes to NSS, if any.

3~4 does not knockaway when used in juggles. neat change, considering right now as a wall carry it kinda sux since it carries so low to the floor. The change lets yoshi keep pressure on, with a dash in afterwards.

going off br frames
kin 2 is now -15 at least? nina's b+1+4 was blocked. didn't look like she input it late.

kin 2does a nice high launch allowing a full juggle afterwards. O_o,

DGF movement seems faster. then again it's probably an optical illusion due to how fluid the game looks.

f+4 recovers earlier on hit.

u/f+4 -15 on block O_o(he was probably mashing)

flash skill juggle is no longer needed now. flash d+2,2, d+1 B1 b+2,1 works.




but real talk the best buff is the return of ttt movement for yoshi. =3

@ PhineBuy: we will have to wait and see... Nina did get her b+1+4 blocked, but she did it a bit too slow for the perfect frame punish.

@ Inca: I thought I was seeing things when I saw KIN~DGF into moves become faster. But yes, IND transition remains slow from what I saw.

@ Bronson: d+2,2,1_d+2,2,d+1_b+2,2 are going to be available for both 1SS and NSS. I think that's what Namco had in mind atm... though to be honest, I'd like to see different stuff in NSS myself.

Hmm... either this game is overally faster or Sword Sweep might be a bit faster. But maybe it's only my imagination.

I hope his 4,4(etc) kicks got a tune-up as well.

hmm if the d221+2_1 is a combo. whats stopping people from just throwing out d2 then hitconfirm rest of string for massive damage.

seems like scaling is up the butt for juggles but normal hits do hella damage.

That series (d+2,2,1 or d+2,2,d+1) reminds me a bit Dragunov's d/b+2,1,2.
Which means that even if punishable, will be playable. ^^ Especially because it's NC.

The lifebar is 100% probably, I remember Tekken Tag was always played on higher lifebar percentage.
