Yeah, I got that. I think you 1,2,4~1+4 or 1,2 double-tap 1+4.

To my memory he does it by quickly canceling the knee into the 1+4 animation; notation mistake. A ball-ache to learn in games so I never bothered with it. It doesn't really add anything to his game.

If you wanted to try jabbing into the white heron mixup at the end, they start to duck and punish at the 1+4,2 stage after a little while.

can you escape DJs fake, 1,EOD??

what button will you press, since its 1+2??

EOD is probably the most broken assed throw in the game..it can be escaped however..yah just have to anticipate and press 1+2 immediately when the eod animation starts..the only problem is that the frame window for this throw is flat assed small so the best thing you can do is to try and anticipate your opponent's set ups for EOD and practice with your timing..

yeah.. its possible.. try it on practice with walls.

but put some delay on d 3+4, coz sometimes it doesn't hit..

Mostly being able to back roll catch with things like 2xcd~ff+2_ws+2 makes it really hard on the opponent, they will just want to lie still for free damage or get up quick into mixup maybe.

In my opinion it's a lot more important is dash ewgf to track or to space just right so the ewgf is very dangerous to someone trying to attack you, than being able to wave dash.

b1d/f+2, when I execute it DJ punches and the he performs a wgf but as the notation suggested I thought it should do an ewgf but never came out no matter how many tie I tried. So was wondering if it's possible for the second hit to come off as an ewgf.

I read that b1d/f+2 should be used to punish after a parry, I tried it on practise mode but found that while the character eats the first hit the second is blockable and I was wondering why this could be so, perhaps my execution is too slow or maybe the reason above.

And tgf f,N,d,d/f+1, is it like ewgf where if you don't do the d/f+1 part on time it doesn't come out? Because I can do ewgf but when I try tgf it looks the same as it I would ahve done f,N,d,d/f,1

And what does ch mean? I know this sounds noob but I can't find it on legend.

I can help you with some of your questions:

b+1,df+2 will not come out as an ewgf. And it's not a NC - so that means, even if the first hits the second is blockable. I can't remember if it's a NCc though, but in general i don't use this move.

Ch means counter-hit. It is a status a move gets when you hit the opponent while he is doing a move. Example: Bryan tries to do ff+3, you do b+4 and get a counterhit, bryan is stunned and you get a juggle. On a normal hit you'd only deal some damage on bryan - no stun.


i think cd+3 is the mid version.

Thank you Toxen for your help, You answered pretty much all I asked, But yeah, b+1,df+2 a move you'd abuse but I just heard it was effective after you parry, I think the prob was my input speed.

Oh btw I was wondering about on counter. ewgf I think takes like 11(14) frames, don't really know why there's two fdrame datas but anyways... If someone executes a move and I block, and they are at a negative frame advantage of more than -11 frames, if I inputted ewgf during that time frame would ewgf be guaranteed?

I thought ewgf is 14 frames?
Oh well, yeah if ewgf is 11 frames and you have a 11 frame advantage then the opponent can't block it.

But i'm sure ewgf is 14 frames, eh cbf checking

EWGF is 14 frames at top execution, unless you play Kaz, which has a 13 frame EWGF.
With DJ you'll usually get either 14 or 15, depending on how much you suck.
