...saiyuk...
Nate (I think it's short for Nathan) is orignally from Melb but has moved around due to his job. He's currently in Perth. I don't remember when he said he was in sydney but from what he said hes been all over Australia (played a bit in Brisbane too).
So your team is a no show? Let's team up then!!!!!!! I still haven't got an official team and I'd rather team up with you then some randoms from Sydney
These are some prices I found for anyone leaving on the 4th May and returning on the 6th May. Feel free to check for yourself if your coming/leaving on a different date or you want something cheaper.
Prices vary depending on what time you leave that day
Virgin Blue
Melb-Syd - Prices range from $120-$189
Syd-Melb - Prices range from $89-$120
Jetstar
Melb-Syd - Prices range from $79-$99
Syd-Melb - Prices range from $69-$129
Qantas
Melb-Syd - Prices range from $98-$140
Syd-Melb - Prices range from $98-$140
4th to the 6th, is that Thursday to Saturday? I wouldn't mind Thursday to Sunday >.< Those prices are 1 way, yeah? I still think Jetstar's the way to go.
Well I don't have a credit card so i'm going into a travel agency at uni on Monday. I'll let you know abut the details off the flight if you wanna book with the same airline or travel time. I'll also look into accomodation once more.
abi: Pitt St is the street that runs parallel to george st (the st GW is on)...

saiyuk: you may not remember me... it has been a little while since i have played in sydney... i came back up from melbourne for a team tournament like a year and a half ago to catch up with friends and play with Kaiser69... then hwan kicked my ass...again...

Umm I hate to follow suit but I should probably let people know early that there might be chance that I might not be able to make it to SBO. The problems are University and fincacially related. In any case i'll be letting people know in a week or 2 if i can attend or not.
didn't even know there was a melbourne thread here..
LOL i think Jonno and I are the only ones playing Tekken regularly at the moment haha. Good steve DM the other day mate..next time i wont' fall for so much of steves shit lol.
Maybe this time of the year is the tekken "off season". I know that it is sometime during Christmas and in the new year..where you'll be lucky to find a tekkening soul in sight lol.
I personally have just been too busy to play plus my whole obsession over ranking up has toned down. I think people are just busy or the T5 interest is dying out. It has been out for awhile now. Only people who play now are people who post on the forums (and a few others). I remember the days at WH where there were so many players ud struggle to get a turn. Just wait for T6 to come out then the craze will start all over again.
Kelli: What time did people used to play at WH on Sat? I can give you some games next week on thurs or friday if you wanna play.
I'm living in Sydney at the moment, but if current events continue then work is going to take me down to Melbourne next year
As a result I'm curious as to where the best suburbs are to live. I plan on renting an apartment or just a little flat, as I will be staying there for roughly a year and a bit.
So basically I have 0 knowledge of your urban sprawl, but I was hoping you guys could suggest the most ideal places closest to the city, where the nightlife is best and around good facilities such as railways, shopping centres and ofcourse an arcade.
I plan on getting an early start into this so I don't have to rush and plan everything last minute and end up in a crappy place, in the middle of nowhere. I've checked out some other sites which have info on this, but there is nothing like good first hand knowledge from the locals. So any advice you guys can give will be very much appreciated
Anyways I'm just g'd to have the opportunity to play you guys in Tekken
