keep in mind when trying to get these to work that most just frames are timed at the hit of a previously pressed button.

for instance in lei's BT, d+4:4 the JF 4 is pressed on the hit of the sweep.


  • Wang
    d/b+4,2<:5
    wang takes an extra step forward to fake out the opponent
    d/b+4,2:5
    non-punishable -6 recovery, some class 1 launcher combos possible. hit spark will appear higher up above his head instead of the normal one by his midsection

  • Lei
    BT, d+4:4
    3 hits, close up +2 extra damage, far away +10 damage
    PLD, D/B:3~4
    just like in T2/3... 2nd kick still comes out if the 1st is blocked

    on hit it will do the normal heaven's gate, on guard the kick will come out and a 3rd MID guard spark will appear in the sky against larger characters. the extra guard spark will cause the opponent to not be able to standing 1 jab you before the kick. test this out in practice with devil vs devil & computer set to guard all to see the extra guard spark in the sky.

  • Devil, Kazuya
    CD, D/F+4:4
    the first hellsweep must connect from as far away as it can reach (causing a trip stun instead of a knockdown), the second 4 is then pressed immediatley after the first connects. if done right the first will trip stun the opponent, the second will combo and knock them over, and you can then juggle them with a WGF, two more hellsweeps, (or a d/f+4,4 w/ kaz). if the JF is missed the first hellsweep will knock over the opponent from any distance and nothing can combo afterwords. if you do the JF too close the first sweep will knock them in the air and hit clean.

  • Kuma, Panda, Jacks, Ganryu
    FC,d/f+1,2:1
    on hit, the opponent recovers crouching instead of falling to the ground leaving them open for throw/mid/poke mixups. also, the third punch will do 3 less makeing it a 3 hit 39 damage combo.

  • P.Jack
    3+4:3+4
    not really a JF as it's not too hard to time, but it's not in his move list so i figured i'd list it. by hitting the 2nd 3+4 when p.jack's feet are at the level of your opponent's head he will take a last minute hop back up. the 2 hit combo you can do with it is hilarious.

  • King
    FC+1+2 (1,2,1_2,1,2) 3+4:1+2
    the ultimate S.T.F. multi throw. can't be broken after the 3+4 connects.

  • Ogres, Hwoarang, Heihachi (jap arcade only)

  • Heihachi
    f,n,d/f+1 Hits clean. Try it in juggles!

Kaz and Devil have the JF juggling hellsweeps just like in 4. Basically space them out kind far and delay the input.

I dont really think you can count ewgfs even though they have 2 and 3 frame windows, right?

i know the shimmy step is has been known of for a while, but that quick recovery on block one is all me. and i'm not sure what you mean by his new one... the only other JF in the false lift is that one that whiffs every time and i don't think that's worth listing.

throw escapes weren't really want i was looking for, but that p.jack throw does give you like only 2 frames to hit that back.

Jacks infinate as such is there, but as far as I can tell, having done it twice in all the time I have tried cosecutively one after the other its nih implausable and impossible to do. Its not worth the effort. You can however throw off of it if you have bryan as a tag partner.

so a jf escape during the rdc perhaps?

as his one rear throw to the other rearthrow difference is a mere b2+4 for an extra 5 points
well i really believe there is a rear mount jf in the standard 2+4 from the rearwith craig
as the ending anim is near id to a rear mount
anyone found out if this is fact?
