STANDING SPECIAL ATTACKS AND STANDING SPECIAL STRINGS


f+2,2 - The new command for df+2,2 (Nest Crasher). The damage of the first hit has been nerfed from 17 points to 16 points. The damage of the second hit has been nerfed from 21 points to 20 points.

f+2,4 - The new command of df+2,4 (Nest Wrecker). The damage of the second hit is buffed from 17 points to 18 points. The hit frame has been nerfed from +18KG to +14KG. The second hit now screw launches on counter hit. The second hit now also tracks side step left. The block frame has been nerfed from +1 to -3 with pushback.

f+4 - This now high crushes at 6f.

f+1+2 - The startup frame has been buffed from 23f to 17f.

df+2 - This is changed to become a 16f launching uppercut that high crushes and launches crouching opponents on natural hit. The animation is the same as the regular WS+1 animation before change below done with the opposite hand and a high crushing step in startup. The damage is 16 points. The range is 1.5 back dashes. The block frame is -12.

df+3,3,3 - The second hit and up is changed to the last two hits of the regular 4,4,4,4,4 (Nimble Cutter) before the removal of the last two hits below done with the opposite leg following after the first hit as a string. The second hit impact speed is the same as the regular df+3,3 (Wagtail) before removal. The first still requires counter hit to combo with the second hit. The damage of the second hit has been nerfed from 21 points to 18 points. The last two hits are still a natural hit combo. The last hit is still a wall bounce. The block frame is still -9. The second hit of the regular df+3,3 has been removed from here and given to HAR+4 below.

df+3,4 - The regular kick from 1,1,4 (Goose Punch Combo) before I removed it below placed here following after the first hit as a new mid mix up. Both the second hit impact speed and impact range are the same as the second hit of the new df+3,3,3 above. This is a counter hit combo. The second hit no longer hits grounded. The block frame is buffed from -19 to -14 by decreasing five recovery frames on Katarina and not by increasing five recovery frames on the opponent. This faster recovery animation also allows more juggle follow up options.

df+4 - The damage has been buffed from 17 points to 18 points.

df+1+2 - This is changed to be a new shoulder. The animation is just like Dragunov's WS+1+2 (Frost tackle) but with the opposite shoulder. The startup frame is 13f. This has a very short high crush frame during startup. The range is one and half back dashes. The damage is 30 points. The block frame is -16 with pushback. The new command for the regular df+1+2 (Phoenix Kick Flurry) double arm grab is now uf+1+2 below. I think Kat having a shoulder looks badass and fits as she has a savage headbutt f+1+2 (Drumming).

df+3+4 - The damage has been buffed from 21 points to 24 points like FC+df+4 (Short Tail). The hit frame has been buffed from +1 to +2. The consistent startup gasp/grunt sound cue is changed from being done during the beginning startup of attack to being done during the strike of attack like how it's done for Nina's db+2 (Right Backhand Body Blow) which is fair since this low is already very slow. The recovery animation after hit has been changed to be done exactly like FC,df+4 (Short Tail) rotating back the opposite way for a more stylish recovery animation. Reaction of opponent on hit is made to be the same as FC,df+4 (Short Tail).

d+1 - The hit frame is buffed from +3 to +7. The block frame is buffed from -7 to -3.

d+2 - The startup frame is buffed from 20f to 17f.

d+3 - The block frame has been nerfed from -11 to -14. The short frame window to delay following extensions has been removed.

d+3,3 - The damage of the last hit is nerfed from 18 points to 16 points. The hit frames are buffed from neutral to +2. The block frame has been buffed from -13 to -11 swapping frames between d+3 alone and this extension since d+3 has following extensions. Leroy's d+4,4 (Razor Kick to Hermit) string is identical to Katarina's d+3,3 done with the opposite leg and his frames between the first hit change above and second hit change here are balanced the same way as Leroy's. This is also fair as Anna's and Nina's d+3,2 (Left Spin Low to Right Uppercut) string is a 16f counter hit combo with the first hit high crushing, the second hit launching on natural hit and more range on both hits with the block frame of -13.

d+3,F - A new Harrier cancel following after this low leading to great plus frames on hit and greatly decreased negative frames on block. Katarina's first low to Harrier cancel.

d+4,1 - A new extension with the second hit being a left handed version of the second hit of her 2,2 (Feather Fury) string. The second hit is high and this new string is something identical to both the Williams d+4,1 (Low Kick Spin Punch) string. The impact speeds are the same as 2,2. The damage of the second hit is 20 points. The second hit wall splat spins and screws airborne. The hit frame is +10kg. This is a counter hit combo. This does not have the ability to be delayed. Useful in juggles. The block frame is -12. The second hit can be ducked and launch punished. This is also able to be done with the command of FC+db/d+4,1 below.

d+3+4 - Reverted back to it's regular hit affect on grounded opponents.

db+3 - The startup frame has been buffed from 25f to 24f. The knockdown has been changed to the same knockdown of HAR+3 (Palmate Spin) giving guaranteed ub+4 (Lower Axis). These are fair buffs making this heavy low more useful and unique from db+4 (Slipping Tail).

db+4 - The startup frame is nerfed from 29f to 30f.

b+1 - This is turned into a 14f, homing high that wall splat spins and screws airborne. The animation is a counter clockwise spinning left hand chop, something similar to Anna's old f,f+2 (Executioner) animation before it's animation change in Tekken 5 DR but done with the opposite hand. The range two back dashes. The damage is 20 points. The hit frame is +12KG. The block frame is -3 with pushback. The regular b+1 (Inside Peck) and it's extensions have been removed and used in other places.

b+3 - The damage has been nerfed from 17 points to 16 points. Counter hit no longer has knockdown. The hit frame for both natural hit and counter hit is now +6.

b+4 - The damage has been nerfed from 17 points to 16 points. This no longer counter hit launches. The block frame has been buffed from -15 to -13 adding two slower recovery frames on the opponent and not three faster recovery frames on Katarina. This makes open frames window between this and it's extensions on block two frames shorter.

b+4,3+4 - The second hit is changed to no longer knockdown but to put opponent in FC making the third hit on hit slam opponent grounded face down head towards. The damage of the second hit is buffed from 3 points to 4 points of damage. The damage of the third hit is buffed from 17 points to 18 points. The knockdown frame of third hit is buffed from +3 to +5 giving ub+4 (Lower Axis) guaranteed.

b+4,F - A new Harrier cancel following after this mid with greatly increased plus frames on hit and greatly decreased negative frames on block.

b+3+4 - Tracking to the right has been greatly increased.

ub\u+3 - This has been changed to the last hit of the regular 1,1,3 (Albatross Punch Combo) string before removal below. The startup frame is 25f. The low crush frame is 9f. The hit properties have been changed to launch on natural hit like Josie's ub/u/uf+3 (Butterfly Edge). Both ub+4 and u+4 are the same with slight movement ahead and the impact range is slightly above one back dash. The block frame is nerfed from neutral with forced FC to -9 without forced FC. The new command of the regular ub/u+3 (Flying Bird) is now ub/u+3+4 below.

ub+4 - This move has been fixed to automatically realign axis when off axis, especially after a knockdown so it no longer whiffs on a grounded opponent off axis which happens a lot.

ub/u+3+4 - This is the new command of the regular ub/u/uf+3 (Flying Bird). The high crush property has been improved and increased.

u,ub,b - The new ability to do an evasive backflip.

uf+3 - The new command for the regular f,f+3 (Aerial Glide) which has been replaced below. The animation of her jump posture, jump height and arms during the jump startup have been changed to be done just like HAR+3 (Palmate Spin) for a harder to differentiate animation between this and the other. The damage has been buffed from 20 points to 23 points. The block frame has been buffed from -9 to -5. The command for the regular uf+3 (Flying Bird) is now ub/u+3+4 above.

uf+4,4,4,4 - The third hit done without the fourth hit extension now tracks to the left. The block frame of the third hit has been nerfed from -10 to -12 by decreasing two recovery frames on opponent and not increasing two recovery frames on the Katarina.

uf+4,4,4,4,4,4 - The last two hits have been removed.

uf+3+4 - The second hit has been changed to slam the opponent down face down head towards like d+1 (Feather Chop) on counter hit always giving guaranteed ub+4 (Lower Axis).

f,f+2,4 - The startup frame has been nerfed from 12f to 14f. The animation of the first hit has been changed to aim upwards towards face and no longer straight ahead to the stomach for a more realistic high hitting animation. The damage of the second hit has been buffed from 20 points to 22 points. The first hit and the second hit now jail on block.

f,f+3,4 - A new low that is similar to Lars' f,f+4,3 (Double Pulse) with different properties. The difference is the first hit trips the opponent airborne like a hellsweep when the entire string is done and the second hit breaks breakable walls. The second hit is her f+3+4 (Fledgeling Foot) power crush but without the power crush property. The startup is 19f. The damage of the first hit is 14 points. The damage of the second hit is 23 points (16 points airborne). The damage of the entire string is 14 + 16 making a total of 30 points. The first hit done alone on natural hit or counter hit just causes opponent to stumble. The hit frame of the first hit done alone is neutral. The first hit staggers on block and the block frame is -26. The second has the same knockdown on standing opponent as f+3+4. The block frame of the second hit is -13. Consider this Katarina's version of Paul's d+4,2 (Demolition Man) string. A scary new forward dash approach low mix up. A consistent grunt/gasp sound cue being the same "HA!" she does during startup of db+3 (Sliding Kick) is added to the startup for fairness. The command of the regular f,f+3 (Aerial Glide) is now uf+3 above.

f,f+4 - The block frame is buffed from -13 to -9. This also decreases the recovery frame by 4 frames allowing faster dashing and better follow ups after use as a screw in juggles.

f,f+1+2 - Negan's 2+3 (Shove) given to Katarina since Negan is a guest character who won't return with some adjusted properties. The startup frame is 14f. The natural hit frame is buffed from +2 to +5. The counter hit frame is buffed from +14 to +19 stun. On counter hit Katarina steps in and does her 1+2+3 (Taunt). The block frame is buffed from -7 to -5.
